WVNA Events
Life after service gets busy. The weeks turn into months, and the connection you used to take for granted just disappears. WVNA catch-ups exist to fix that real, relaxed get-togethers for women who’ve served, every month across Australia.

Commemorative & Special Events
Beyond monthly catch ups, WVNA marks the moments that matter for women who served.
ANZAC Day
Every April, WVNA coordinates ANZAC Day gatherings across Australia – because women who served deserve to be seen and honoured alongside their fellow veterans. Check Facebook and Instagram for location details each year.
Veterans Health Week
Every October, WVNA runs events focused on the health and wellbeing of women veterans – covering physical health, mental wellbeing, and peer connection. Events held in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Watch this page for 2026 details.
Last Post Ceremonies
WVNA supports women veterans in attending Last Post Ceremonies across Australia, including Canberra and regional locations – meaningful moments that recognise women veterans past and present.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to register for events?
No. Events are listed so you know they’re on. Just show up. No booking, no forms, no cost beyond your WVNA membership.
Do I need to be a member to attend?
Membership is encouraged – it’s just $10/year and it’s what keeps WVNA running. Join at wvna.org.au/membership.
Are events available outside major cities?
Yes. WVNA runs events in regional areas and is always expanding. Online events also cover women in rural and remote Australia.
What if I'm nervous about attending alone?
Completely understandable – and very common. Every woman at a WVNA catch up was the new face once. You’ll be welcomed. If it helps, email us at info@wvna.org.au before you come and we’ll connect you with someone who can meet you there.
How do I find out about ANZAC Day or Veterans Health Week events?
Check this page regularly and follow WVNA on Facebook and Instagram. We post event details as soon as they’re confirmed each year.
